AI Applications Supporting Dentists - Challenges and Opportunities

Please join us for our next meeting with Dr Theiu Trinh about his experiences in Artificial intelligence including possible applications that could assist dentists and dental practices now and in the future.

AI applications in dentistry present both challenges and opportunities by leveraging technologies like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision (VR, AR, MR), Digital Twins, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). These innovations are already transforming medical diagnostics with tools like imaging (X-ray, MRI), disease risk prediction, and treatment decision support. For dentists, AI enhances practice through virtual assistants and content production tools, such as patient guides and presentations. A deeper understanding of these applications can lead to improved workflows and patient care.

Dr Thieu Trinh completed his Masters and PhD of Engineering in Ukraine. 

Since then he has lectured in Ukraine, Adelaide, Vietnam. Published a number of articles and also a CEO of SiGlaz Corp.
