Tying the Old and New – The Role of Digital Dentistry in Removable Prosthodontics

    Dr Sravan Chunduru – Prosthodontist

    BDS (Adel), MRACDS (Pros), DClinDent(Pros)

In this presentation Sravan would like to share to the profession the ways digital dentistry has been incorporated into his specialist clinical practice. Although not an early adopter, Sravan aims to keep abreast of and tinker with different ways to incorporate digital dentistry into daily practice for fixed, removable and implant prosthodontics.

The overall aim was to make things either simplified or more predictable and hopefully would spark discussion on what can be useful in your own practices.

Sravan qualified as a dentist in Adelaide and spent several years working in rural Victoria in which he gained an appreciation for managing patients with failing dentitions and complex restorative needs. It is with this experience he completed a specialisation in prosthodontics at the University of Sydney to expand his knowledge and experience in advanced restorative treatment of worn, failing or missing teeth. Since then, he has practiced in Sydney and Adelaide for many years in public hospital, private and university settings.

Sravan has also been regularly involved in the APS as Treasurer for the NSW and SA Branches. He is now the President of APS Federal.

Sravan started private practice in the Adelaide CBD since 2018 and works at the Adelaide Dental Hospital part time as a visiting specialist prosthodontist and is regularly involved as a clinical tutor and educator for dental students over the years.

This is a great opportunity to meet colleagues and network. Thank you for supporting the APS and I am looking forward to welcoming you from 6:30pm, Monday, 9th March 2025 at the Tattersalls Club, Sydney.

Current financial members of the APS NSW are invited to attend the dinner meeting at no additional cost.
